Himalaya by Bike was written after three years of cycling solo around the Himalaya. It covers the best biking routes in the Himalaya from Pakistan’s Karakoram Highway in the west to Bhutan in the east, with particular detail for northern India including the Manali-Leh Highway, the Leh-Srinagar Highway and the Spiti Valley.

This website is for all the things which couldn’t fit into the book: you’ll find hundreds of photographs, some new routes and updates from cyclists over the last few seasons. I hope it will inspire you to dream about biking in the Himalaya and, as the Indian road signs say, ‘if you can dream it, you can do it!’.
