Himalaya by Bike is a guidebook (cover pic on right) written after three years of biking around the Himalaya, and a not-so-fun year in front of a computer. It covers routes from Pakistan’s Karakoram Highway to eastern Bhutan, with especially loving detail for Manali-Leh, Leh-Srinagar and the Spiti Valley in the Indian Himalaya.

This website is for all the things which couldn’t fit into the book: you’ll find hundreds of photographs, some new routes and updates from cyclists over the last few seasons. I hope it will inspire you to dream about biking in the Himalaya and, as the Indian road signs say, ‘if you can dream it, you can do it!’.
